Health and safety
We are committed to the health, safety and welfare of our employees, our clients and anyone affected by our work, in line with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
- We assess the risks of each site and assignment and put sensible controls in place.
- We give staff the information, training and equipment they need to work safely, including safe use and storage of cleaning products.
- We encourage staff to report hazards, near misses and incidents, and we act on what they tell us.
- We review this policy regularly and whenever our work changes.
Equality, diversity and inclusion
We value a diverse workforce and treat everyone fairly. We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, in line with the Equality Act 2010.
This applies to recruitment, training, promotion, pay and the way we serve our clients. Bullying, harassment and victimisation are not tolerated, and staff can raise concerns in confidence.
Environmental policy
We aim to reduce the environmental impact of our work. In practice this means:
- Using cleaning products responsibly and choosing lower-impact products where they do the job well.
- Avoiding waste of water, energy and consumables on client sites.
- Separating waste for recycling where the site allows it.
- Planning staff travel and patrol routes efficiently.
Quality policy
We are fully committed to providing the highest standard of service to all our clients. We agree clear requirements with each client, brief and supervise our staff against them, and check our work regularly.
We welcome feedback. If something isn't right, tell us at info@anchorsc.co.uk or on 07775 439037 and we will put it right.
